Craig was my home teacher when we lived at the Elms spring/summer terms of 2004. He had just gotten back from his mission, and he was a riot. One of the first times he and his companion came over, they both wore their old missionary tags and taught me an excellent lesson. Craig was a great leader and always had something nice to say to everyone.
For awhile we were in the same FHE group and I remember meeting in his apartment several times for fun activities that he organized. He was very much the "Dad" of our group. I also served with Craig directly on the music committee for a time. He was humble and effective in his calling. He respected and noticed everyone; I can still remember a very unique and sincere compliment he paid me that I believe helped me learn a great deal about myself. Although I moved out of the Elms and eventually lost track of Craig, I would see him now and again on campus, and he always made sure to say hello and give me a wave. He was a truly happy, sincere, fun, dedicated and uplifting person to be around, and I'm glad I knew him.
