I did not have an opportunity to get to know Craig or even have a conversation with him. However, he was in my Organic Chemistry class last semester and we were currenlty in a class together this Summer term. I wanted to pay tribute to a person whom I beleived was a Giant among Men. Through out the course of last semester and the beginning of Summer term, I had the chance to watch Craig in action. Craig would always come to class with a big smile on his face and a simple hello to every person he passed. I watched him numerous times offer help to fellow classmates who were struggling with concepts and problems. I never heard Craig complain about not having his hand when fellow classmates would inquire about his injury. He used it as a teaching tool and an opportunity to let us know that life throws curve balls and its up to us to keep swinging regardless. Although I did not know Craig on a personal level, he blessed my life by the example he set as someone who truly cared about others and wanted nothing more than to make someone else smile. My condolences to his family on their lost.
