I didn't really know Craig very well after his freshman year of high school when I was a senior, but I do remember thinking that he was an incredible young man. I was glad for the time that I did get to spend with him. He always brought such a light and joy with him. It was an absolute pleasure to be around him. He was always making people smile and laugh, and he ALWAYS had a smile on his face. I remember thinking he was going to be beating the girls off with a stick once he got into high school because he was such a good looking kid and had a wonderful attitude. His outlook in losing his hand further cemented my opinion of him. He was an amazing man, and his loss is the world's loss.
We have been truly deprived of one of our finest individuals. Can you just imagine how much of a better place this would be if we all shared Craig's outlook on life? I have printed off his words and put them up in my cubicle at work to remind myself to laugh on serious days; to remind myself to lose my troubles in helping others; not to buy fireworks in Mexico; and to share his message with all of my co-workers. My heartfelt sympathies go out to your family. I sincerely wish I could be there for the funeral to pay my respects to Craig. I feel his loss deeply. All my love and hugs to your family.
