Memories of highschool

I thought I'd share a funny/interesting story about Craig. This story happened years ago, I can't even remember how many, probably the year before Craig was Drum Major in marching band. We were on Band Tour, I believe going to Las Vegas. We stayed the night in a hotel in St. George or somewhere down there. Anyway, the memory I have is a bunch of us were just kind of chillin outside. It was a warm night so no one was in their rooms. I just remember looking down into the courtyard of the hotel and seeing Tannie Rains (now Datwyler) and Craig dancing the polka! It was so fun and funny to watch them just have fun! When out of nowhere, some wrong step or something, sends Tannie down to the ground. Well, to make a story short, she broke her foot. Not good, but in hindsight, quite a funny way to break your leg. Craig felt so bad! Afterwards, not that he wasn't before, he was so nice to her. Trying to do everything for her. I just remember what a wonderful example of kindness and loving Craig was.

I also remember that in High School I don't think there was a single girl that didn't want to go on a date with him. He was so kind and loving to everyone and was making everyone laugh all the time! Sorry the story is a little scattered, I just thought I'd put it in the best way I could remember. There are so many memories to choose from that it was hard to choose just one. I was granted to privileged of knowing him for many years. Not only did I get to do Marching Band with him, but I was in his home ward for many years! I love him and his family and I am so grateful I know them! God Bless and Love you all!
