Always Smiling

Craig was one of the friendliest people I've ever had opportunity to meet. He had a perpetual smile on his face, and a hilarious comeback to every remark. We had a number of classes together in high school, and Craig always made things fun. In our sophomore history class, Craig initiated a Word of the Day. The goal was to work it into a comment, or to get the teacher to say it. Once someone said "Jell-O", for example, Craig leapt out of his seat and loudly congratulated the winner of that day's challenge. I feel blessed to have known Craig in this life—I think everyone who met him would say the same. His optimism, good humor, and friendly attitude will be missed. But…I have no doubt he's going to rock the socks off those heavenly beings. He'll conquer this new adventure the same way he always has—with enthusiasm and panache!
