My Tribute!

Craig was an amazing example in my life! I didn't talk to him often but I knew he was there if I needed him. It had been probably a year since I'd spoken to Craig and I was having a particularly bad day! I had mentioned his on my facebook status. Literally 10 minutes later I get a little message from Craig asking if he could do anything to brighten my day! That simple act, taking a second to comfort another, brightened my whole week! Craig was always thinking of others! As I sat thinking I wrote 2 poems (they're long i apologize), i hope they help someone!

His Smile
Some called his quite quirky some called him a mint.
His smile was his trademark everywhere he went.
A room would brighten when Craig walked in 'cause the first thing you saw would be his grin.
Always a person so precious a friend so very true!
Whatever he had he'd share it with you.
A thought, a deed, a kind chat for awhile but aways, oh always He'd share his smile!
Our hearts are breaking our thoughts gone abort.
We've lost our friend we've lost a support.
But only for awhile I heard someone say He's been chosen for the Masters bouquet.
Hand selected by Jesus from this garden of life.
Gone to heaven He's through with this strife.
Why is he gone? God only knows. But oh what a treasure a smile from a rose.

I'm finally home
A brief moment of darkness was all that I knew before heavens gate came into my view.
Loved ones and friends I had missed for many years welcomed me with open arms and many happy tears. All the hurt, fear and pain that I have eve known is all gone from my life.
I am finally home!
I gazed upon the Lord's sweet smiling face and for the first time I knew and felt his grace.
I know that you miss me but please dry your eye. I will always be watching and loving you from my home in the sky.
A cool breeze on your face a touch of light rain I will send as a reminder that we will meet again!
Life on earth is but one brief moment in time I am finally home!
Eternity is mine!
