One night I went to a party at Kevin's house in Provo, and found that the main activity was painting murals on the walls of the dining room. We were all eating and painting and having fun.
Then Craig and Abe showed up. They had just come from watching the newest Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and were in full pirate garb. Their outfits and accents were funny enough as it was. Then Craig wanted in on the fun. He unscrewed the plastic pirate hook from his wrist. (This was a pirate accessory, before he had his metal prosthesis.) Then he asked me to duct tape a paintbrush onto his wrist so he could paint the walls with us. This was a mistake as I ended up with as much paint on my face as on the walls. He then joined us in making beautiful art. Craig was amazing and knew how to live life to the fullest. I'm glad I knew him for the short time I did.
