My wife works at the Food and Care Coalition in Provo on Friday mornings and Craig would be there some Friday's. She noticed he was signing in with his left hand in Jan. 07 and writing poorly. Then she noticed his right hand missing. She asked him if he always had been missing that hand and she just hadn't noticed. He, of course told her what happened with the fireworks. She knew he was going into chiropractic medicine and at the time he was still very optimistic about continuing on that path. She came home that day and told me about him.
We were very saddened to hear of Craig's untimely death and wish to pass on our condolences to all of his family. I guess the point of this message is that with the very little contact my wife had with him, he showed himself to be extremely generous (any college kid who volunteers at the food and care must be incredibly giving!) and optimistic in spite of personal challenges. We're sorry for your loss.
