A couple of years ago, before I even knew Craig, I remember seeing him and Abe around our apartment complex all the time. They just eminated light everywhere they went. So, when he showed up at my apartment on my 21st birthday, I already knew who he was. Craig walked in and said, "I'm here to wish LaDawn a happy birthday." Apparently he had been talking with my roommate and she had mentioned something about me having a birthday, and so he decided he had to come wish me a happy birthday himself, even though we had never formally met. That was only the first of many times Craig was an example to me in charity, love, and Christlike character. He will truly be missed here, but I am sure that he continues to live on as that example to others today.
